The Rhett House Inn proudly introduces NEWCASTLE HOUSE - a beautiful, two-bedroom home adjacent to The Rhett House Inn, now available for rent to discriminating travelers nightly or weekly.*
The house has been featured in numerous magazines and publications, most recently in the Christmas 2011 & 2012 issues of Southern Living Magazine. It is decorated in a ne0-British Colonial style, with breathtakingly contrasting dark Honduran mahogany floors; clean, bright surfaces; designer furnishings; and high-end, state-of-the-art kitchen appliances. If you’re feeling adventurous, create your own culinary masterpiece; or dine at any of Beaufort’s fine restaurants.
The Master Bedroom Suite features stunning antiques, beautiful king bed, walk-in closet, access to the screened veranda, and en suite bath with deep soaking tub surrounded by Honduran mahogany woodwork and cabinetry. The second bedroom contains antique furnishings, a queen bed, closet, and bath.
The house also features a large, sunny open living/dining area which flows gracefully into the kitchen; two bedroom suites; and a screened veranda. The stunning gourmet kitchen features an unusual raised-hearth fireplace; marble floors; and large, bright windows overlooking the lush outdoor areas and raised-bed herb garden - perfect for preparing gourmet meals if desired. The kitchen dining area seats 4 – 6; the main dining table seats 8 – 10.
The bedrooms, which are located on opposite ends of the living area for privacy, feature plasma televisions, Rhett House luxury linens and toiletries, and Rhett House Inn robes. The house also features a wrap-around screened porch, accessible from the kitchen, living area, and master suite, and a full laundry room/pantry stocked with all essentials for your convenience.
Rental of Newcastle House includes access to all of The Rhett House Inn’s famous amenities, including our famous Southern breakfast each morning; daily housekeeping; complimentary glasses of champagne upon arrival; teas, lemonade, and pastries all afternoon; evening hors d’oeuvres and cocktail hour; nightly desserts; bicycles; beach gear; and access to the facilities at The Sanctuary Club at Cat Island.
