Head to University of South Carolina Beaufort Feb. 21-25, 2018 for the 12th Annual Beaufort International Film Festival! Presented by the Beaufort Film Society, the festival features five days of international and local short films, feature films, animation, guest speakers, and more.
Awards and prizes will be presented in several categories, including Feature Film, Documentaries, Short Film, Student Film, Animation, Screenplays, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Director, Audience Voted, Comedy, and Audience Choice.

15th Annual Soft Shell Crab Festival

The Old Village Association of Port Royal is proud to present the upcoming 15th Annual Soft Shell Crab Festival. Perhaps one of the most popular and always-anticipated Lowcountry events, the big day this year is on Saturday, April 21st from 11am to 5pm.
The Beaufort Classic Car & Truck Club will be on hand showing off their spectacular collection of vehicles. Local organization Bikers Against Bullies will also be on hand with anti-bullying messages for kids, and the Rotary Club of Beaufort will host their annual Charity Crab Race along Battery Creek. This year, the winner receiving a $2,000 cash prize and an available top prize of $40,000 to one possible winner and 10 chances to win $5,000! To enter the race, visit
