Rhett House Inn Policies, Terms, and Conditions
Taxes and Fees:
Quoted rates do not include applicable state and local accommodations taxes at the time of reservation (currently 12%, subject to change without notice) and a 11.5% service charge, which is in lieu of cash gratuities.
The hotel offers complimentary off-street parking. If all spaces are full, there is plenty of complimentary parking on the quiet, lightly traveled side street next to the inn.
Deposit, Cancellation, and Room Policies:
Cancellations must be made 168 hours (7 days) before midnight of the day of arrival. Also, you must put this in writing to: firstname.lastname@example.org. No-shows and guests who do not cancel within this time will be charged for a one night stay, plus taxes and gratuity, or issued a Gift Certificate for future use. We require a one night deposit at the time of booking for all reservations, and any portion of early check-outs are not refunded except in cases of emergency. Most of our rooms are designed for double occupancy, and we do not have rollaways, cots, or cribs. Rooms 7 and 8 contain two beds and can accommodate 4 guests.* Rooms 11 and 12 can adjoin to make a two-bedroom suite. **Important: There is a $40 per person per night charge for each extra person over the age of 5 in all rooms.

THESE RATES ARE CLEARLY MARKED AND CANCELLATIONS OR REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS WILL NOT BE HONORED. PLEASE BOOK CAREFULLY.
The Rhett House Inn accepts all major credit cards, cash, and checks with verification.
Check-In and Check-Out Times:
Check-in time is 3 p.m., and check out time is 11:00 a.m. If available, we can extend check out until 12pm. If guests are not checked out by 12pm, then there will be an additional late check out fee added. We do not offer early check ins, to ensure the rooms get all the love and attention the requests of an early check-in can not be accommodated.
Room Guarantee Policy:
We make every effort to accommodate requests for specific room numbers, but room assignments are based on room availability and type; therefore, we cannot guarantee any room number or location. As with any hotel, occasional unforeseen circumstances necessitate room changes. In such an event, we attempt to contact or upgrade guests who must be moved. **Important: We are not responsible for room changes necessitated by unforeseen situations or developments over which we have no control.
The Rhett House Inn has two Pet Friendly Rooms. There is also a $75 non-refundable Pet Fee. Please call the Inn directly to check availability.
Smoking Policy/Noise/Excessive Damage:
The interior of The Rhett House Inn is smoke-free is a smoke-free environment. There are numerous designated outdoor smoking areas on verandas and in the garden. **Important: Smoking in a designated non-smoking area is subject up to a $1,000 fine. Any room with noise and/or excessive damage or wear and tear will result in a $150 fee, plus charges for any necessary damage repair.
We make every attempt to accommodate our guests’ special needs. Please let us know in advance if you have dietary restrictions, allergies, etc. and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
To book using a Gift Certificate please call the inn directly at 843-524-9030. Gift Certificates cannot be applied to existing reservations.
Gift Certificates may not be redeemed for cash. All reservations are based on availability and double occupancy. Gift certificates are not valid after expiration date listed. Gift Certificates cannot be applied with any other discount. Unless otherwise noted, the New Castle House is excluded from Gift Certificate use. Gift certificates are nontransferable to other guests.
