The Rhett House Inn's Policies

Life moves unhurriedly in Beaufort – a slower pace in keeping with long held Southern traditions and practices. People are invariably friendly and pleasant – you may even hear Gullah spoken, lowcountry language centuries old.

Taxes and Fees

Rates do not include applicable accommodations tax at the time of reservation and a 10% service charge, which is lieu of cash gratuities.

Off-Street Parking

The hotel offers complimentary off-street parking. If all spaces are full, there is plenty of complimentary parking on the quiet street next to the inn.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made 72 hours before 3 pm of the day of arrival. Guests who do not cancel within this time will be charged for a one-night stay with tax. We no longer require deposits.

Travel Agent Commissions

Rhett House Inn is pleased to extend a 10% commission to all travel agents upon receipt of valid invoice.

Credit Card Policy

The Rhett House Inn accepts all major credit cards.

Check-in Time

Check-in time is at 3 p.m., and check out time is at 11:00 a.m. If late checkout is requested, there may be an additional fee. Early check-in time will be extended with no extra fee when available.

Guarantee Policy

Generally; we cannot guarantee any room number or location, although we make every effort to grant all requests.

Pet Policy

The Rhett House Inn does not allow pets.

Smoking Policy

Our inn is a smoke-free establishment. Smoking in a designated non-smoking area is subject to a fine.
