Jon Sharp's Walking History Tours
Take a captivating one hour and thirty minute walking tour through the National History District of Beaufort, beginning and ending at the Downtown Marina. This leisurely two mile stroll will take you back in time as Jon Sharpe, a former Hollywood actor, tells you tales from Beaufort while showing you its captivating charm and natural beauty.
Tours are Tuesday thru Saturday during the Spring,
Fall, and Winter 10am -1pm and in the Summer
at 10 am. Tickets are $15 per person.

The Spirit of Old Beaufort Guided Historic Tours

Walking Tours are Monday thru Saturday at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm. Whispers from the Grave Tours begin at 7 pm. Tickets are $13 for adults and $8 for children ages 6-12 accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required to guarantee tour time.

Southern Rose Buggy Tours
Take a fully narrated horse-drawn carriage tour
of Historical Beaufort, SC. See and hear about local hotels, homes,
and Hollywood film locations. Tours last about fifty minutes, and leave
frequently between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm daily. Fees are $18.00 per person.

Ace Basin Boat Tours
Discover Beaufort's marshes and Sea Islands of the ACE Basin. Boat tours last about three hours and leave from the ACE Basin Tours dock on Coosaw Island. The dock was featured as the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company in the movie Forrest Gump and other scenes from the movie were filmed at nearby sites. The tour boat is the Dixie Lady measuring 38 feet long, is a coast guard-certified covered platoon, and can hold up to 40 passengers. Cold beverages and restroom are available onboard and please feel free to bring your own food and drinks.
Two regular tours are scheduled weekly from February-December, leaving at 10:00 am on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Special tours can be arranged at other times. Cost is $35 for adults and $15 for children 12 years of age and under. Reservations are advised.

Directions: From Bay Street S. take a RIGHT onto Carteret Street (HWY 21) and cross the draw bridge taking you onto Lady's Island. Continue of HWY 21 until you reach the second stop light at intersection (SC 802). Take a LEFT here onto SC 802 E. (also called Sam's Point Road) and continue 6.7 miles to the bridge that crosses Lucy Point Creek. The ACE Basin marina is immediately to the LEFT at the far end of the bridge.
Beaufort Kayak Tours
Come explore the beautiful waters of Beaufort
with Beaufort Kayak Tours. Specializing in easy to enter, stable kayaks,
with an emphasis in natural history interpretation. All tours are lead
by the owners Kim and David, who are degreed, certified Master Naturalists
and City of Beaufort History Tour Guides. Your trip will include all
equipment such as: kayak, paddle, and personal floatation device.
Tours range from $40-60/person. Reservations

Kayak Farm
Ocean kayaking has become very popular in the
tidal areas leading into St. Helena and Port Royal sounds. Kayaks and
canoes are perfect for the backwater rivers of the ACE Basin, a large
estuary that lies between Beaufort and Charleston and is fed by the
Ashepoo, Combahee and Edisto rivers. The Kayak Farm features year round
guided explorations, retail sales, and comprehensive instruction and
rentals.

Higher Ground
Kayak rentals are $40 daily and $125 weekly.
All kayaks are great for beginners and include paddle and personal floatation
device. Higher Ground offers kayak and bicycle delivery for a $25 delivery
fee. Surfboards are also available for $25 a day, $80 a week.

Horseback Riding
Enjoy and explore the Low Country from a different view as you horseback through a 60 acre farm lined with moss draped live oaks and island palm. Or perhaps you would rather explore the coastline and old plantation line? Camelot Farms offers such walking horseback riding tours, private or guided, so that you may experience the Low Country just so.
For inexperienced riders, a one (1) hour, including mini lesson, ride is offered for $50.00 a rider. For more experienced riders, take a two (2) hour tour for $75.00. All children 8 or older are welcome. Camelot Farms is by appointment only, so be sure to call now!
